You do not have to run into burning buildings to be a hero - Join your neighbors in making a donation today!
Established in 1953, the Lyle Fire Department (LFD) has organized professional fire fighting volunteers for decades through the generosity of community members, local businesses and regional supporters.
Funding for LFD comes from a small portion of Lyle fire district taxpayer dollars as well as competitive grant awards (state, tribal, & federal), contributions from local businesses, and individual tax deductible donations from neighbors like you.
Donations ensure that LFD is able to maintain and upgrade vital equipment, provide critical volunteer training, and ensure safe and effective emergency response in our community.
LFD could not provide a high level of community support without the generosity of our neighbors. The department appreciates our community's unwavering support and as we come to the end of the year, we encourage you to consider one last contribution this year, whether through a one-time donation of $5 or starting an annual giving tradition.
Wondering how your donation might benefit our community? Your donation could help to:
Replace three antiquated, life saving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
Replace 20+ year old structural fire volunteer protective gear
Complete much needed facility maintenance to offer efficient, effective and safe operations
Outfit LFD's new E-404 fire truck to meet the department's growing demands
Continue restoration of LFD's first fire truck "Little Red"
