Ways to Give

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Established in 1953, the LFD has existed for decades through the generosity of community members, local businesses and regional supporters. Donations ensure that LFD is able to maintain and upgrade equipment, provide volunteer training, and ensure effective emergency response.

LFD could not provide a high level of community support without the generosity of our neighbors.

You do not have to run into burning buildings to be a hero - Please consider making a donation today!

Buildings

Turn your unwanted building(s) into a learning opportunity! By donating a house or other property for use as a firefighter training opportunity, you are gifting a valuable educational opportunity while reducing demolition and cleanup costs.

Vehicles

Every year LFD responds to several motor vehicle accidents with many necessitating the use of rescue tools to extract patients. While we use every opportunity to train for these types of incidents, we can always use more vehicles for training. Vehicle pick up and documentation for tax purposes can be provided for qualifying donations.

Funds

As a department staffed by volunteers, monetary donations are always appreciated to meet the growing demands on the department. Checks can be mailed to:
