Fireworks are regulated by the Washington State Fire Marshal through the Washington State Patrol. In Klickitat County, additional ordinance(s) have been developed to further limit the potential damage from discharge of fireworks during a burn ban. Individuals interested in discharging fireworks must be aware of the rules and regulations in the area they intend to use fireworks. 

 

In general, fireworks can only be discharged between 9am - 11pm on July 4th

and after 6pm on December 31st until 1am on January 1st.​

As with any fire, you may be responsible for the cost of a fire resulting from your firework(s). For more information, refer to the Washington State Fireworks Law RCW 70.77.
